The subjects I am particularly interested in in the field of otolaryngology,
- Ear surgery (cochlear implantation otosclerosis, cholesteatoma and others)
- Dizziness (vertigo), tinnitus (tinnitus)
- Aesthetic Nasal Surgery, Nasal congestion, Sleep apnea
- They are head and neck cancers and problems of fluid collection in the tonsils, adenoids and ears in children.
Dr. Mustafa Deniz Yılmaz was born in Manavgat, Antalya in 1971. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in his hometown In 1990 he began his medical education in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. During his studies, he did an internship at Kuopio University in Kuopio, Finland in 1994. In 1996, he completed his medical education and started his residency program in Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Hacettepe University Ankara, Turkey. In 2001 he became an ENT specialist.
In the same year, he started to work as an instructor in Afyon Kocatepe University ENT Clinic. In 2002 he received the title of Assistant professor and in 2006 the title of Associate professor. In 2007, he left the university and began private practice. In 2009, he returned to academy and started to work at the newly established Antalya Training and Research Hospital as a founding faculty member of ENT Clinic. Here, he served as head of the faculty and director of the clinic. In 2016, He was appointed as Professor of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck surgery. Until February 2019, he served at Medical Sciences University Antalya Training and Research Hospital. Then he left the university clinic to start his own private practice.
During his academic career, he has worked in various clinics in different countries as visiting Professor including United States, Germany, Italy and Spain and has participated in various courses. He had published many scientific articles in international journals. He has national and international awards for his scientific studies. He is a well known practioner in his region and took part in various national and international meetings as an invited speaker.He has performed more than 6000 nose surgeries. 1500 of his nose surgeries are Rhinoplasty.
